Final Verdict

Here is the latest in the DVCpro saga. FYI the whole problem was; the tape was recorded in the LP mode. So I brought a new DVCPro tape to the client and had them record it to the 126DVCpro tape introducing a new variable in the problem. The problem was that the recorder was a full size DV/miniDV recorder made by panasonic. The compatability issue was a) The First Tape (panasonic123) was recorded in the LP mode b) The second tape was a 126 and recorded and played fine in the DV/miniDV deck but would not playback in the AJD250.
Final
The full size DV/miniDV deck must be recorded in the SP mode and the panasonic 123 tape will work in both the DV/miniDV deck and DVCpro decks. The 126 will not.
Can some one tell me why the 126 will not cross platform to the other decks?
